Due to the dying Call of Duty community and inactivity among the ranks of the unit and shortage of new applicants. The 45th Infantry Division is ceasing Combat Operations and moving into Retirement on this day, Janurary 1st, 2010, after 5 long years of continuous fighting.

Since it's inception in November 2004, the 45th Infantry Division has seen hundreds of members come and go, many of them remain today. This goes to show the strength of a determined unit, and will be sorly missed. The 45th Infantry Division was a force to be reconed with. Over the course of these 5 years, we have expirenced both good and bad times as with other units and clans, but the fact that we remain and lasted over a few months is a great feat as most clans/units dont last longer than that.

To all forum, game, ts pubs, soldiers alike. The forums will remain up for communication and to keep in contact with everyone, feel free to stick around and keep the spirit alive.


Soldiers of the 45th ID, those who remained to the end will be placed on the final retirement roster, as of 1 Jan 2010 you are released from Active Military Duty with the K Company,3rd BN/157th In Regt, 45th Infantry Division, and being returned home to the United States. You are no longer required to wear the 45th ID patch, you may join other units/clans as you see fit.

And this appointee is to observe and follow such orders and directions as may be given from time to time by superiors acting in according with the rules and articles governing the 45th Infantry Division.

The 45th Infantry Division would like to recognize those soldiers for outstanding achievements:

Army Commendation Medal - Awarded to any soldier of the 45th ID for meritorious service or achievement while in a non-combat status.
